Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer in Training (EIT) or a Engineer (P.E.) with experience in government or commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have worked with both HVAC and Plumbing systems. This position offers significant growth potential, with the opportunity to lead projects and potentially manage a team within the next five years.

Responsibilities

  • Work on government or commercial projects involving HVAC and Plumbing systems.

  • Participate in the design and development of mechanical systems using Revit MEP.

  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure project success.

  • Assist in project management and leadership responsibilities as needed.

  • Develop and enhance engineering skills through ongoing training and development.

Essential Skills

  • Mechanical engineering

  • Mechanical design

  • Experience with Revit MEP

  • Knowledge of HVAC systems

  • Knowledge of Plumbing systems

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Ability to obtain P.E. certification within the next few years or already possess it.

  • Experience with hydronics is preferred but not required.

  • Experience working on government projects, especially correctional facilities, is a plus.

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $45.00
