Actalent Manufacturing Maintenance Technician in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Job Title: Manufacturing Maintenance TechnicianJob Description

• Able to read pneumatic, electrical, PLC, and part/component drawings/specifications. • Troubleshoot various mechanical-electrical equipment. • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required; AA or two-year technical degree in relevant discipline preferred. • 3+ years of experience with an AA or two-year technical degree, or 5+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience without an AA or two-year technical degree. • Ability to troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and automation.

Hard Skills

  • Reading pneumatic, electrical, PLC, and part/component drawings/specifications

  • Troubleshooting mechanical-electrical equipment

  • Lathes and mills experience (beneficial but not required)

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Work Environment

Will be working primarily in the lab. Casual attire. • Hours: M-F, 8hr days, start between 6am-7:30am. 3-4 months in (or sooner if they show promise), will be included in the on-call schedule. On call for one weekend a month, paid quarter time for being on call and if they respond (unless they didn’t work a full 40 hours M-F).
