Learn more about us at https://www.hawkinsinc.com/careers/ ABOUT THE JOB Responsibilities: Perform general facility and equipment repairs which may include boiler, HVAC, compressors, pumps, welding, pipe fitting, construction, and facilities duties Participate as a lead or support role in capital projects Maintain preventive maintenance program and spare parts inventory Maintain/monitor plant and work area housekeeping standards Apply all product quality and safety standards as well as report any product safety incidents to the Supervisor, Manager, or designated back-up (applicable to positions working in accordance with specific plant or company certifications). ABOUT YOU High school diploma or equivalent required Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals required Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing/distribution environment required, previous experience handling chemicals is preferred. Previous forklift operation required; equipment (skid steer, backhoe, snowplow) preferred Computer skills (MS Office) required, MRP (JDEdwards) and preventative maintenance program experience preferred Ability to obtain required boilers license and/or DOT medical card where required Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry up to 100 lbs. 10-20 feet up to 10 times/day; ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, frequently. Must be able to pull/push equipment and/or piping weighing up to 100 pounds into position for 1 -2 minutes up to 40 times a day. Ability to sit, stand, and climb stairs for up to 12 hours per day. Able to climb ladders and work at heights Ability to work in a warehouse facility where temperatures may range from 45 up to 105 degrees Fahrenheit; as well as work outside in all weather conditions; snow, rain, wind, and high humidity. Ability to work in confined spaces. Ability to turn, twist, stoop, bend, and reach Ability to wear a respirator for up to 4 hours a day ref 2025-080 All applications must be received online.
