Reports To: Fleet Operations Manager Terms: Regular full-time, hourly Shift: Schedule dependent on current assignment Compensation: $33.48 per hour with additional $2.00 shift differential after 3pm. Pay increases for valid ASE certifications. Schedule increases to base pay according to Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). Benefits: Quarterly Tool Allowance, Annual Clothing Allowance. Purpose The Fleet Maintenance Technician II (FMTII) is responsible for conducting essential preventative maintenance and troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing basic equipment break-downs on Eureka Recycling s fleet of vehicles and equipment. The FMTII is able to perform basic work without assistance, such as brake jobs, and assists others or receives some direction or supervision for higher level repairs. The FMTII plays a vital part in ensuring the vehicles optimal performance and reliability, contributing directly to Eureka s mission of zero waste. Owns and uses their own basic tool kit on the job. Able to understand basic electrical systems. Has basic knowledge of trouble-shooting, diagnosing, and repairing basic equipment break-downs. Able to perform basic repairs without assistance, such as brake jobs. Able to perform higher level repairs with direction/assistance. Performs all Lube Tech jobs as well.
