Canon Business Process Services Facility Coordinator in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Overview

Coordinates all facilities for particular buildings and departments to ensure that the office is up and running smoothly for business. Provides administrative support. Resolves facilities issues for all building systems and equipment by determining and coordinating the best solution.

Responsibilities

  • Perform conference set-ups including audio visual equipment

  • Coordinate with vendors to provide preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, fire systems and generators

  • Assist with coordination of maintenance request with the building personnel

  • Repair drywall including patching, paint, and paint touch-ups

  • Conduct minor appliance troubleshooting and repair

  • Conduct office moves, to include furniture and office equipment

  • Perform picture and wall decor hanging at client request

  • Perform standard light bulb and ballast replacement

  • Complete minor carpentry tasks

  • Assemble, disassemble tables, other furniture for large events

  • Maintain and track list for all maintenance requests to ensure timely completion

  • Establish and maintain relationships with outside vendors for support on larger projects

  • Coordinates with building management for maintenance repairs under their purview

  • Maintains inventory of tools and expendable maintenance supplies, and coordinates with Site Manager for requisition of new supplies and tools

  • Assist hospitality staff in client operations as needed

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or comparable work experience

  • Must possess a minimum of one year facilities maintenance experience

  • Computer skills-Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word

  • Must possess a strong sense of urgency

  • Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment

  • Excellent communication, organizational and follow up skills

  • Must be able to multi-task

  • 5 years’ experience in facilities support management role

  • Ability to coordinate multiple schedules to conduct required maintenance

  • Basic facilities maintenance knowledge is required

  • Basic carpentry and appliance repair experience required

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Required to move or lift light objects (up to 50 pounds)
