Job Description

The Enterprise Data Governance (EDG) Key Reports and Authorized Data Source (ADS) Operations Team is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining and enforcing the Key Reports and ADS portions of the EDG program within the Bank. This includes assisting with the design and execution of Policy, Policy Procedures, Guidance, internal procedures and tooling.

Specific tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Creating and maintaining internal procedures

  • Performing quality assurance review tied to complex data flows and socializing with stakeholders regarding resolution of quality issues

  • Performing quality assurance reviews tied to issues/gaps of data systems and socializing with stakeholders regarding resolution of quality issues

  • Assisting with risk and control identification

  • Business line communication, training, and outreach

  • Management of workflows

  • Metric reporting and creation

The successful candidate will have a desire to lead, teach and develop skills. Strong communication and critical thinking skills are essential along with the ability to understand business, technology, reporting processes and identify gaps easily. In addition, a “can-do” personal style/attitude, strong work ethic and attention to detail are also critical to success in this role. The environment is dynamic and fast paced and requires a candidate to have a strong sense of urgency and the ability to pivot across multiple tasks.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • Typically, 5+ years of applicable experience

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Ability to listen accurately and follow instructions

  • Ability to stay focused while executing a repetitive process

  • Microsoft Office experience; with strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint

  • Technical aptitude with experience in Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps and/or Leap

  • Ability to communicate effectively across a broad range of personalities

  • Experience performing Process Quality Assurance

  • Experience working in a regulatory environment, i.e. banking or financial markets

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $90,100.00 - $106,000.00 - $116,600.00
