Robert Half Customer Service Representative in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Description We are in search of a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team in the Higher Education industry, based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be tasked with conducting outbound call campaigns, supporting other call campaign efforts, and handling inbound calls. This role also requires you to provide excellent customer service, maintain accurate customer records, and support the needs of prospects and applicants.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound call campaigns effectively to leads, opportunities, and applications.

• Support other call campaign efforts according to the needs of the organization.

• Handle inbound calls, providing a friendly and welcoming first impression.

• Determine the needs of the callers and prospects to ensure efficient transfer to the appropriate individual or team.

• Provide excellent customer service to prospects, applicants, and learners, keeping their best interest at the forefront.

• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.

• Resolve customer inquiries and issues in a timely and efficient manner.

• Collaborate with the team to share best practices and improve processes.

• Balance a variety of workflow tasks throughout the day.

• Perform other administrative tasks as assigned. Requirements • Must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field

• Proven experience working in a customer service role within the higher education industry

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency in 'Alpha 8,001 - 10,000 kph' and 'Numeric 8,001 - 10,000 KPH'

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software

• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy

• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, often high-pressure environment

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
