Robert Half Customer Service Representative in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Description

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative, offering a possible contract to hire employment opportunity. This role involves handling customer inquiries via chat and phone, dealing with questions regarding educational benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Managing multiple customer chats simultaneously, sometimes in conjunction with phone calls

• Providing accurate responses to customer inquiries, often using FAQ resources

• Handling around 60 phone calls per day, primarily answering questions similar to those received via chat

• Maintaining a high level of organization, including keeping accurate customer records

• Utilizing problem-solving skills to resolve customer inquiries efficiently

• Applying administrative skills to process customer applications

• Demonstrating proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Outlook

• Typing at a speed of 45-60 WPM to ensure efficient communication

• Demonstrating strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers

• Utilizing knowledge of organizational structure to direct inquiries to the appropriate departments when necessary

Requirements • Must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Proficient in typing with a speed of 45 - 60 WPM

• Demonstrable experience in creative problem solving

• Familiarity with student organizations and organizational structures

• Prior experience in administrative assistance is desirable

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and Teams

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

• High school diploma or equivalent required, higher education preferred.
