We are looking for an experienced, curious, and outcome-oriented person to: Leverage the breath of data and insights across the US and Canada markets to illuminate business performance drivers, support decision making, and drive action to unlock growth for pet in Canada Credibly combine consumer, business & analytical expertise with a point of view to drive advantaged choices; and develop an understanding of business cycles and processes to bring the right data, approaches, and insights for the highest impact. Build strategic partnerships with the Canada pet team to deliver a future-forward outlook and influence via Data Driven Insights KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Lead Business Analytics for our Canadian pet business Diagnose and communicate performance and consumer narratives to key stakeholders to enable common understanding and drive action Conduct monthly business review to diagnose drivers of business performance Deeply analyze and understand Canadian customer performance and sales team goals to influence business partners; and help craft the story for customer presentations Establish new processes to identify and monitor category dynamics and competition Be the strategic insights partner for the Canadian Marketing and Sales teams to provide analytics, strategic insight, and recommendations to guide growth strategies Partner closely with US Consumer Insights team to activate insights capabilities including Brand Equity studies, Category Visions, Shopper Insights and Pet Parent insights that can be leveraged in the Canadian market Support creation of 'one version of the truth' for Canada around foundational pet parent and shopper insights MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in market research, marketing, statistics, data analytics, or related field 5+ years of related experience in consumer insights, with some being in the CPG industry Experience leveraging syndicated data to drive business decisions (Nielsen, Numerator, IRI, etc) Excellent collaboration and organizational navigation skills with agility to work with cross functional partners Ability to synthesize data and insights, build a story, and bring-forward a point of view to key stakeholders A learning mindset and a whole brained thinker who combines modern data expertise with deep empathy Must have agility, curiosity and positive attitude to thrive in sometimes ambiguous, fast-based, high-impact business context and role PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience with Canada market and landscape Experience with learning plan / research design and self-serve research platforms (Qualtrics, Ipsos Digital, Qualsights) Pet industry or international insights experience Ability to travel internationally (International travel possible) ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS We are open to 100% remote candidates with occasional travel based on business needs. Salary Range The salary range for this position is $90100.00 - $150300.00 / Annually. At General Mills we strive for each employee's pay at any point in their career to reflect their experiences performance and skills for their current role. The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
