The Pace Analytical Facilities Qualification group is hiring a field service technician to perform equipment qualification services and cleanroom certification testing. This exciting position offers the opportunity to execute custom facility and equipment qualification protocols related to controlled environments (cleanrooms) for all industries including medical device, life science, electronics, scientific, defense, and other high tech industries. The qualified applicant will work across the Twin Cities and nationally providing testing solutions in production cleanrooms and related lab areas. Self-directed individuals with the ability to function in complex industrial and lab environments will thrive in this position. Currently most work is in the Twin Cities regional area, nationally 25%+ travel is required. Pace FQS has an extensive training program with escalating pay as well as bonus incentives. What you'll do Perform on-site testing and report completion of custom Installation, Operation and Performance Qualification protocols for equipment listed above including use of Kaye Validator system. Provide on-site testing of production cleanrooms including HEPA integrity testing and ISO 14644 particle count certifications Provide on-site equipment certification including laminar flow workstation, fume hood and biological safety cabinet certification Enterprise software data management use Prepare GMP compliant test reports Develop custom Installation, Operation and Performance Qualification protocols for equipment including HVAC and cleanroom facilities, purified water systems, compressed air and gas systems, autoclaves, ovens, and other controlled environment equipment What you'll bring High School diploma required Ability to understand technical drawings and manuals Strong technical aptitude as demonstrated through work or educational experience Ability to extract technical requirements from various sources and create executable protocols from the technical requirements Exceptional customer service skills Physical ability to work in active construction zones as buildings are completed and started up Valid driver's license required Up to 25% travel nationally Ability to work in a self-directed environment #LI-RG1 Additional Information Benefits 80 hrs of paid vacation per year, 7 paid holidays per year, 2 floating holidays per year (prorated based on start date), 40 hrs paid sick time per year, paid bereavement leave (days based on relation to the employee), 8 hrs paid volunteer time per year, medical, dental, vision, voluntary short-term disability, long-term disability, life i surance, voluntary supplemental life insurance, traditional 401k and ROTH 401k with a company match, HSA, FSA, employee referral bonus, employee assistance program, tuition reimbursement program, employee recognition program, voluntary ID theft coverage, voluntary legal coverage, voluntary accident insurance, voluntary hospital indemnity insurance, and voluntary critical illness insurance.
