Description
We are offering a long-term, potential contract-to-hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in our Minneapolis, Minnesota location. Our industry is Manufacturing, and the role is integral to our financial operations. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be tasked with managing and executing the accounts payable procedures, ensuring data accuracy, and providing effective customer service.
Responsibilities:
• Handle the processing and coding of invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Manage account reconciliation and check runs to maintain financial accuracy.
• Execute data entry tasks, ensuring the accuracy of all financial information.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for financial reporting and data management.
• Operate the Oracle system for various financial operations.
• Provide customer service, responding to and resolving any customer inquiries related to accounts payable.
• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions based on account status.
Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
• Prior experience in Accounts Payable (AP)
• Strong data entry skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Oracle
• Knowledge of general accounting principles
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Knowledge of manufacturing industry practices and standards is preferred.
