Licensed Electrician Job Summary License Electrician will be working on installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical installations and control circuits in company buildings, along with various pieces of equipment including Asphalt Plant and Gravel Crushing spreads. Summary of Essential Job Functions This is a union position; membership in the IBEW Local 292 union is required. * Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, and fixtures using hand and power tools * Diagnose malfunctioning systems or devices using blueprints, wiring diagrams, and test equipment and correct the problem safely and efficiently * Inspect and test systems and components to identify hazards, defects, wear, and compliance with construction and electrical codes; advise management about hazards of continued operation as necessary Minimum Requirements IBEW journey worker, with a valid unrestricted driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to obtain a DOT Medical Examiners Certificate. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to feel, or handle objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, bend, crouch or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
