Job Title: Finishing Carpenter

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Finishing Carpenter to join our team. This position involves performing finish and trim carpentry work according to plans and specifications, measuring, cutting, and installing various fixtures and millwork for doors, windows, ceiling panels, staircases, decking, furniture, and more. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 7 am to 3:30 pm, with potential for overtime at different times of the year.

Responsibilities

  • Perform finish and trim carpentry work according to plans and specifications.

  • Measure, cut, and install various fixtures and millwork for doors, windows, ceiling panels, staircases, decking, furniture, etc.

  • Erect scaffolding or ladders as needed.

  • Collaborate with other carpenters, journeymen, and supervisors to complete projects.

  • Troubleshoot and repair issues with building components and equipment.

  • Follow established regulations and advocate for safety on each worksite.

Essential Skills

  • High school diploma or GED certificate.

  • At least 3+ years of carpentry experience.

  • OSHA 10, OSHA 30 certifications.

  • Keen attention to detail.

  • Blueprint reading skills.

  • Ability to use common hand tools and power tools.

  • Physical stamina for lifting equipment and working at various heights and in tight spaces.

Work Environment

Work is performed both indoors and outdoors, occasionally in environments that are dusty, noisy, or may have other challenging conditions. This role requires the use of personal protective equipment and carpentry trade tools.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $72800.00
