Volt LAB Technician II in Little Canada, Minnesota

Volt is immediately hiring a Lab Tech II in Maplewood, MN with a well-known industry leader. This candidate will program by conducting performance tests on the product and on the products of the customers' processes. This is a first shift, full-time contingent opportunity. As a Lab Tech II, you will :

  • Run materials characterization tests such as laser light scattering, surface area analysis, and gravimetric analysis.
  • These methods are well developed and require following detailed instructions to ensure safety and test accuracy.
  • In addition, you will conduct formulation and coating experiments that mimic customer processes for electrode formation. These processes require attention to detail, understanding of experimental methods, and accurate record keeping.

Qualifications: BS Chemistry or Engineering Estimated Duration up to 24 months.
