Description

Robert Half is seeking a Human Resources (HR) Coordinator to support a maternity leave starting immediately. The HR Coordinator position could turn into a permanent opportunity for the right fit but initially is scheduled to go until the end of February so our client is seeking an individual who can fully commit through that duration. In this role, you will be handling various administrative duties, interacting with visitors, and supporting the HR department in tasks related to recruitment and internal transfers.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure smooth operations at the front desk, managing foot traffic, and handling inquiries.

• Manage the internal transfer process, assisting employees transitioning between roles or shifts.

• Support the recruitment process by scheduling interviews and assisting with the onboarding of new hires every two weeks.

• Handle administrative tasks such as preparing and distributing new hire packets and processing shoe reimbursement receipts for employees.

• Participate in conducting hourly interviews for potential candidates.

• Aid in internal communications, supporting the creation and distribution of company announcements and event promotions.

• Manage the calendar for scheduling interviews and other HR-related tasks.

• Take on additional projects to broaden skillset and contribute to the team's success.

• Utilize skills in Human Resources (HR) Administration, New Employee Orientation, Personnel File Maintenance, and Recruiting to effectively perform tasks.

Requirements

• Ability to handle a multi-line phone system and transfer calls

• Strong customer service skills

• Knowledge or willingness to learn Human Resources (HR) administration

• Skills in maintaining personnel files

• Experience or interest in recruiting

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field is preferred but not mandatory
