Description Hearth and Home Technologies is the world's largest manufacturer of hearth products (gas, electric and wood burning fireplaces, as well as Stoves) with a long history of exceptional products and customer satisfaction. This Seasonal Claims Specialist position inLake City, MNreports to the Quality Manager with a core schedule of 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday. The Seasonal assignment is targeted to begin in September 2024 and end in April 2025. The Seasonal Assignment is not benefit eligible, however will receive paid holidays and PTO. A successful Claims Specialist will impact the business by: Promote acquisition of freight damage claim documentation to increase reimbursement credits from carriers. Process product warranty and freight damage claims accurately within warranty guidelines. Resolve warranty cases by applying standard warranty policies and interaction with Technical Services, Sales, and Quality Assurance. Process Sales Orders, Credit Memo Requests, and Return Material Authorizations. Maintain accurate and complete records within Salesforce applications. Execute calls and emails related to customer warranty within quality standards. Provide service to customer in contact center environment related to warranty claims processing. Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred 3-5 years customer service experience or related field Preferred 2 year degree in related field Required Skills and Qualifications: Must have computer skills including Microsoft Office, familiarity with using various software applications and databases, and accurate data-entry skills. Ability to work independently with moderate level of decision-making and conflict-management abilities to address issues in an appropriate manner. Ability to multi-task effectively and understand threshold for escalating issues for support from other members.
