Job Title: Paintline Operator
Job Description
We are looking for individuals to join a paintline production team. This position involves operating machines and equipment used to paint metal siding and shingles for residential construction. Note, this is NOT a painting position, but candidates must be comfortable being around and working with paint. Essential job functions include:
- Placing coils on the unwinders with a hoist, starting coils on the rewinders, and removing painted coils off the rewinder
- Examining bare and coated metal for defects
- Replacing rollers as needed
- Stitching coils together to maintain a continuous line
- Grinding and smoothing paint rollers on lathes when needed
- Loading and unloading trucks when needed
Hard Skills
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 720 Hour(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Hopkins, Minnesota.
Work Environment
Industrial manufacturing environment, can get warm at times, machines are running so it can be loud as well. Must be comfortable lifting 50-75lbs on occasion. 2nd shift (1x): 3pm - 11pm M-F $21.50/hr
