Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in the healthcare industry located in Golden Valley, Minnesota, United States. The role is for a Security Architect who will play a crucial role in maintaining the security of our IT systems, including the design of security features for cloud-based applications and the continuous enhancement of our Azure platform's security disposition.

Responsibilities:

• Designing strategies and architecture for IT systems security.

• Developing security features for cloud-based applications following established paradigms.

• Continually enhancing and maintaining the security disposition of the Azure platform.

• Setting security procedures based on company business plans, security concerns, and compliance needs.

• Structuring security controls, guidelines, and appropriate data, applications, and system access based on roles.

• Directing IT Security and Security Architecture tasks following best practices.

• Planning access configurations within a cloud solution setting using security best practices and defense-in-depth principles.

• Evaluating system security procedures and implementing necessary architectural guidance, improvements, and changes to ensure policy adherence.

• Using and implementing cloud-native tools such as Log Analytics, Azure Monitor, Azure Security Center, and Azure Sentinel.

• Addressing, inspecting, and providing solutions for escalated security incidents as reported by SOC analyst teams.

• Regularly testing and treating web applications, network, and system security.

• Staying updated on emerging security practices and standards, and participating in educational opportunities to enhance job knowledge.

• Collaborating with department heads to reinforce end-user compliance with IT and security standards.

• Aligning enterprise with regulatory requirements and cybersecurity frameworks. Requirements • Applicant must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role within the Healthcare/NHS industry.

• Proficiency in Checkpoint, Cisco ASA, and Cisco Technologies is mandatory.

• The candidate should have extensive knowledge of Cloud Technologies and Database management.

• Experience in AB Testing, Auditing, and AWS Technologies is required.

• The applicant should have hands-on experience in Configuration Management, Cyber Security, and Microsoft Azure.

• Possession of Comptia A+ certification will be considered as an advantage.

• Familiarity with SOC and NIST frameworks is essential.

• The candidate must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required.

• Strong oral and written communication skills are mandatory.

• The applicant should have a proactive approach towards identifying and mitigating potential security risks.

• Proficiency in creating, implementing, and maintaining security architectures is expected.

• The candidate should be able to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
