Responsibilities SUMMARY: Responsible for executing sales efforts to penetrate Internet Content/Cloud Providers with 1st focus Microsoft, Google, Amazon and Facebook. This is an individual contributor growth position reporting to a VP who is empowered to make FAANG and other greenfield markets as successful as their Tier 1 ecosystems businesses. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Execute comprehensive marketing, sales and service plans and programs to achieve assigned quota in support of sales and revenue objectives Establish, optimize, and maintain relationships with targeted Network and Storage influencers and key community and strategic partners. Partner with peers inside and outside to solve operational problems to our advantage Drive revenue and gross margin growth to meet the sales plan for the year Responsible for learning the KGPCo's Broadband business development and Active Electronics (Cloud) partners strategy initiatives within various accounts such as US Broadband, T3, T2, and others in the Communications industry; Responsible for Leading Strategy, Relationship, and Revenue Development Partner with KGPCo sales and identify new logos, new opportunities, and providing input into KGPCo organizations to assist in qualifying a lead Drive engagement between KGPCo Sales organizations and those of our strategic partners Work closely with the leadership of each client's buying groups to address their business needs as well as understand new requirements and how we can best serve those Develop partner strategies and position KGPCo as the vendor/solution of choice for our partner and target accounts Professionally prepares written documentation required for client presentations, RFPs, and other documents as required Participate in industry forums, participate or lead webinars or trade event panels Domestic travel required and on average will be 50% of the time Qualifications EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Management, or related field 8-10 years of relevant business development or sales experience with a proven track record of sustained quota / objective achievement - Telecom and/or IT services sales experience strongly preferred Active, productive relationships with Tier 2, Tier 3, Rural Broadband accounts (Tribal, Rural Electric Coo-ops, State and Local influencers and key community and strategic partners Able to effectively meet customers' needs, build productive internal and external stakeholder relationships, and take responsibility for customer satisfaction and loyalty Team player and team builder who promotes collaboration and positive work environment. Able to communicate well (verbally and in writin ) with stakeholders and senior business leadership of internal departments and customers Able to work independently while maintaining robust communication with management Able to identify, analyze, and resolve issues and conflicts regardless of manager's authority (or lack thereof) with the involved parties Able to understand the financial impact of decisions on the profitability of proposed initiatives Proficient with MS Office and Sales CRMs such as MS D365, SFDC, etc. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; ability to write simple correspondence; ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the Company. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add and subtract 10-digit numbers, to multiply and divide with tens and hundreds; ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance. REASONING ABILITY: Work follows established job aids and business rules. Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form; ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
