Job Description:

Responsible for performing fitness assessments and consultations, along with interpreting data and formulating personalized exercise programs for members. Will orientate members in the safe and proper use of the weight and aerobic equipment and takes care of scheduled maintenance of such equipment. He/she will teach exercise and fitness classes as needed as well as train new fitness staff in the policies and procedures of Essentia Health.The Health/Fitness Rep I is responsible for formulating personalized exercise programs for members. The Health/Fitness Rep I will orient members in safe and proper use of the weight and aerobic equipment, take care of scheduled maintenance of such equipment and instruct exercise classes as needed. Position requires a high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with patients, co-workers and others.This position includes sales and certain administrative tasks to members, physician referred patients and the general public.

Education Qualifications:

This is a casual position for hours available at Duluth and Esko Fitness and Therapy Center

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or ability to become certified within 6 months from date of hire
