Position Overview: Role is responsible for the day-to-day interactions between HM Cragg, Eaton and the Minnesota/Western Wisconsin customer base. The person in this role is a key partner to both Outside Service Sales and Outside Product Sales Managers. Timely and effective communication between all stakeholders is key to this person's success. He/she will administer all aspects of the sales cycle for customers, help to proactively develop business relationships, expand the customer base, respond to customer needs and inquiries and consistently grow the business. This role requires excellent organizational skills and ability to manage a variety of concurrent tasks and information, actively develops improvements to repeatable process steps all while providing the necessary persistent follow up and follow through to deliver an exceptional level of customer service to internal and external customers. Reporting Relationship: The Technical Inside Sales Specialist reports to the Senior Territory Sales Manager. Responsibilities/Accountabilities: Teams closely with Outside Sales- in all aspects of customer support. Facilitates the specification and purchase of HM Cragg's supplier's equipment for new and existing customers. Generates proposals and responds to pricing requests. Receives customer purchase orders for buy/resell and commissionable sales transactions- ensure HM Cragg's terms and condition of sale incl. payment terms are approved, signed proposal or valid customer PO before orders are handed off to project management. Processes commissionable customer orders by entering all required documentation, signed proposal/PO through Eaton's bid man configurator- ensures Eaton's terms and condition of sale are approved. Utilizes and maintains Eaton Growthpoint lead tracking tool to identify new sales opportunities. Proactively communicates with customers to ensure seamless interactions between HM Cragg and Eaton. Sales Administration Effectively uses IFS CRM/ERP application to manage account activity and communications with other HM Cragg sales personnel. Creates and submits sales pipeline and activity reports on weekly basis to all appropriate stakeholders. Tracks and reports relevant scorecard metrics. Maintains excellent customer records. Manages expense and submit expense reports monthly. Actively participates in weekly sales meetings (Traction), one-on-one manager discussions. Creates periodic business review power point presentations Provides input to Outside Sales Manager to develop and implement annual plans to exceed revenue and gross margin goals. Supports HM Cragg sales and marketing efforts by creating content for eBlast, White Papers, case studies and other services related sales communications to be sent to customer base on periodic basis. Other relevant duties as assigned.
