Job Summary Nidec Control Techniques is hiring an Inside Sales Specialist in Eden Prairie, MN. This position will partner with the outside sales team to develop close relationships with existing customers and assist in the search and development of new customers. Job Description Product Selection and possible sizing assistance Lead follow up, reaching out to potential customers Outbound calling to existing customers Identifies and contacts active/inactive customers who have not purchased or who are significantly down in sales, with the focus on regaining lost business Application assistance Quote and special price generation, possible CRM assistance Work with multiple departments to resolve concerns and issues Occasionally "in-person" customer visits/meetings Setting up appointments for outside sales Providing proactive service/communication to distributors and re-sellers Recommend CT product to cross over from competitors Recommend alternative CT products if desired product is out of stock Ensure distributors have proper literature including taking literature orders by phone After initial training period, has primary responsibility for one or more small accounts-generally by phone Additional Job Details Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action at Nidec No Soliciting Nidec will not accept unsolicited resumes from individual recruiters or third party recruiting agencies in response to Nidec job postings.
