Location: Anywhere in the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia, Idaho, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Texas.

The Lead Field Service Technician will troubleshoot, diagnose and repair the McNeilus Volterra, North America’s first fully integrated electric refuse collection vehicle. This role is entirely field based, providing you with a company vehicle to travel within your region.

YOUR IMPACT

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair Volterra ZSL Electric RCVs.

  • Perform warranty campaigns and updates on our vehicles in the field.

  • Maintain a clean, safe and orderly work environment and ensure timely maintenance of the issues company vehicle.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Five (5) years of experience in troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing vehicles or heavy/industrial equipment.

  • Advanced electrical and diagnostic experience or certifications.

  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and hydraulics and ability to read and understand schematics.

  • Valid driver’s license and the ability to be insured to drive a company vehicle.

STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience as a field service technician.

  • High voltage certification.

  • Prior experience with refuse trucks or cement mixers.

  • Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).

PLEASE NOTE: This is a travel-heavy position with travel ranging from 60-80% depending on the time of year. You will be compensated extra for every day spent traveling away from home.

Pay Range:

$63,500.00 - $101,700.00

The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
