Description Legacy of Delano, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, is looking for a Maintenance Assistant to join our growing team! Legacy of Delano is a fun filled Senior Living Facility, located right off of Highway 12 in Delano, near Coborn's. It has 51 total units, between both Assistant Living, Independent, and Memory Care Apartments. Our Maintenance Assistants become family and impact the lives of our residents who live in a Lifespark Skilled Nursing Community. In this position you will assist in the repair, upkeep, and maintenance of the building, grounds, and equipment. Duties include: Perform all duties concerned with electrical, heating, cooling, plumbing, painting, floor care, and various equipment. Perform assigned housekeeping duties including trash removal, mopping, cleaning, etc. in accordance with facility policy. Address and correct work orders to maintain building and equipment operation. Assist in the purchasing of supplies and equipment for departmental operation, may require vehicle operation. Assist in the supervision of outside contractor services. Assist in the inspection of building, equipment, and grounds on a regular basis to ensure compliance with codes and regulations and to maintain proper operation. Preferred Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent Experience in health care is preferred.
