Bongards' Creameries Grinder Operator - Day Shift in Chanhassen, Minnesota

Description Position Summary: Bongards is looking for an individual to join our team as a Grinder Operator on the "B" Shift. Job duties: Opening of all barrels and blocks of cheese used for grinding. Recording of weights and other pertinent information. Making sure cheese is clean before going to the grinder. Feeding and the operation of the grinder. Communicate with the cooker operator, blend set-up, and leadperson. Work in a safe and proficient manner (Lockout/Tagout of grinder) Maintain work area in a neat and orderly fashion. Forklift driving as necessary. Must report all food safety and quality concerns to immediate supervisor or their designated replacement. All other duties as assigned by the supervisor or leadperson. Other Requirements: Must demonstrate excellent communication skills. Must be able to read and follow written instructions. Must adhere to and follow all Safety, GMP, and other quality guidelines. Physical Capabilities: Able to manipulate and move 500 pound barrels Able to lift up to 70 lbs.
