Job Title: Electronics Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for electronic prototype assembly and repair, debugging of logic and power supply circuits, product testing, and generating test reports. You will also be tasked with repairing and troubleshooting defective circuit board assemblies down to the component level, performing occasional light production assembly work, and organizing the electronics lab.
Responsibilities
Assemble and repair electronic prototypes.
Debug logic and power supply circuits.
Conduct product testing and generate test reports.
Repair and troubleshoot defective circuit board assemblies to the component level.
Perform occasional light production assembly work.
Organize the electronics lab.
Essential Skills
Ability to read and understand electronic schematics.
Proficiency in soldering small discrete (chip) and fine pitch (IC) SMT components.
Familiarity with microprocessor-based systems.
Proficiency with electronic testing equipment, including oscilloscopes.
Familiarity with schematic editing software.
Word and Excel proficiency.
Strong work ethic and punctuality.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with PWM motor controls and switching power supplies is a plus.
Prefer an Associate’s degree in electronics or equivalent PCBA electronics experience.

Work Environment
You will work in a smaller, very clean, and temperature-controlled shop with a total of 17 employees on the floor. You will receive one 30-minute break for lunch and two 10-minute breaks during your shift.
