YOUR ROLE

  • Support senior scientific staff on assigned projects

  • Perform laboratory experiments and testing

  • Record, organize and communicate results/data from experiments and testing

  • Ensure laboratory and application equipment are calibrated and safety checked in compliance with local regulations

  • Participate in training others and internal presentations. Maintain laboratory and storage areas, as well as equipment

  • Be a role player on 5S and Lab Safety programs for Product Development

  • Ensure adherence to all applicable environmental, health and safety regulations, standards and policies

YOUR SKILLS

  • B.Sc in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science or related field

  • Hands on laboratory experience handling chemicals and various mixing and dispensing equipment

  • Experience in polymer science, CASE, composites, thermal management materials

  • Experience with various testing equipment: Rheology, DSC, DMA, IR, GC, mechanical testing equipment etc.

  • Mechanical aptitude, technical troubleshooting and problem-solving

  • Good communication and presentation skills

  • Experience with MS Office suite and other common technical software packages

The salary for this role is $69,200.00 - $114,200.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
