Overview
We are looking for a Imaging Tech Assistant at M Health Fairview Ridges Hospital in Burnsville, MN. The Imaging Tech Assistant supports the Imaging Department.
Schedule : This is a 1.0FTE (80 hours worked per 2 week pay period). The shift length will be 8 hours on the day shift . Typical work schedule is 9:00AM - 5:30PM, Monday through Friday. No Weekends or holidays!

Responsibilities Job Description
This includes, but is not limited to scheduling, retrieval, scan, and import/burn CD. Assist patients in preparation for their imaging exams. Assists Technologist in day-to-day functions. Ensure patient exams have clear signed orders prior to scheduling. Works closely with other departments (Emergency Department, Med Surg/ICU, OB, Clinics, etc.) with miscellaneous tasks and services to provide best practices and top service to our internal and external customers.

Acts as a patient care representative
Qualifications
Required:
Nursing Assistant, Radiology Technology student or Imaging experience in specific modality
Radiation Safety trained
Level II MRI trained (if working in MRI) Medical terminology
