3rd shift Production Supervisor
Pay up to $95K Depending on experience
x1 opening on the overnight shift and x1 opening on the day shift.
Overnights Shift Hours: 5:15pm-6:00am
Day Shift Hours : 5:15am-6:00pm
Both shifts follow a 3-2 schedule:
Week 1: Mon & Tues - ON, Wed & Thur. - OFF, Fri/Sat/Sun - ON
Week 2: Mon & Tues - OFF, Wed & Thur. - ON, Fri/Sat/Sun - OFF
Job Description
Ensures the human safety is the top priority in all operations and material handling. Reinforces and supports a culture that truly puts safety first and is embedded as such in every employee’s mind and actions. Works to ensure that processes, capabilities, and mindset are developed to provide for a working environment free of food safety issues (with QA Manager). Works to ensure that processes, capabilities, and mindset are developed to provide for the production of ingredients that meet or exceed exacting customer requirements; makes recommendations for further improvement (with QA Manager). Works to ensure that processes, capabilities, and mindset are developed to provide for a strong performance/results/continuous improvement focus from every employee.
Responsibilities
Ensure human safety is the top priority in all operations and material handling.
Reinforce and support a culture that puts safety first.
Develop processes, capabilities, and mindset to provide a working environment free of food safety issues.
Collaborate with the QA Manager to meet or exceed customer requirements for ingredient production.
Make recommendations for further improvement in production processes.
Foster a strong performance, results, and continuous improvement focus in every employee.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
BS preferred; technical or business degree preferred
10 or more years related manufacturing experience in a processing industry; food processing experience required; spray drying experience desirable
5 years leadership/management experience, with at least 2 years as a manufacturing supervisor; currently holds a leadership position responsible for team results
Proficient and fully capable with ERP systems, PM systems, and Microsoft Office; knowledge of and experience with Lean principles preferred

This is a Permanent position based out of Burnsville, Minnesota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $90000.00
3 weeks PTO, 7 observed Holiday's, elgible for medical, dental, 401k, life insurance, and other benefits starting on the first of the month after hire.
Workplace Type
This is a fully onsite position in Burnsville,MN.
