Roles and Responsibilities Act as back-up when Parts Room Supervisor is out Assist Parts Room Supervisor in economically sourcing parts and materials from vendors Assist in maintaining shop inventory Work with the Service Manager and Construction Managers on creating and managing van tool inventory and checkout policy Ship & receive equipment for jobs Re-inventory and stock materials returned to shop from all construction jobs Partner with parts team on warranty returns Lead in returning compressor cores and cylinders for refrigerant and welding gases Maintain tool inventory & checkout policy Coordinate logistics of deliveries and pickups for service and construction departments Coordinate vehicle and trailer repairs Inspect and manage all back-shop vehicles and trailers on a weekly basis Work with shop team to clean service vehicles before a new employee use Provide direction to shop personnel Work with shop team to organize, maintain & keep clean shop on a weekly basis Maintain a clean and organized outside lot (pick up screws, nuts bolts to prevent flat tires) Maintain commercial DOT licensing for large truck and trailers Additional Responsibilities Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor Minimum Requirements Effective management skills Ability to communicate efficiently, both verbally and in written form Excellent multi-tasking and proactive thought process skills Basic computer skills sufficient to perform the job Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
