Job Description

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Analyze chemical, biological, or microbiological products, raw materials, in-process materials, release test samples, or stability samples in support of the company's quality program.

  • Interpret and evaluate analyses in terms of accuracy and precision compared against established specifications and recommend and implement corrective action where necessary.

  • Develop, validate, and implement controlled environment methods.

  • Apply existing techniques and procedures with recommendations and implementation of modifications for improved efficiency, or devise and develop new analytical methods and techniques.

  • Perform qualitative tests or quantitative assays on samples using techniques that vary from the use of standard analytical equipment to highly modern and automated instrumentation.

  • May also be involved in establishing requirements for the transfer of methodology.

  • The majority of time is spent delivering and overseeing projects from design to implementation while adhering to policies using specialized knowledge and skills typically acquired through advanced education, typically University.

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in Microbiology or Biology.

2-3 years of experience working within a microbiology role specifically with Ethylene Oxide sterilization.

Proven history of strong communication skills - written and verbal.

2-3 years of experience with Sterility, bioburden, endotoxin testing, ethylene oxide

Experience with industrial sterilization and the application of applicable standards ISO 11135 ISO 11737-1 and -2 ST72

Preferred:

  • EUMDR exposure

  • Writing and executing protocol

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Brooklyn Park, US-MN and some days remote.
