Position Summary: The Industrial Engineer I role is responsible for identifying and leading the execution of continuous improvement projects and training to help achieve our mission. The ideal candidate will have a passion for improving processes alongside the manufacturing team. Key Responsibilities: Provide training on Lean & Six Sigma tools. Develop tools and methodologies to execute time studies, line balances, line layouts, and visual management standards. Lead projects to support manufacturing team. Develop management operating system tools and supporting dashboards. Seek out continuous improvement opportunities, weigh their value based on benefit, investment, and risk to prioritize work accordingly. Comply with company, quality and safety standards, policies, and procedures. This role will be performed on-site in our Brooklyn Park, MN facilities. Must Have: Bachelor's degree in an Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering discipline with 1 years' experience; or a combination of education and relevant work experience required. Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced environment. Ability to influence and engage others to accomplish projects. Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English with clear communication of ideas. Ability to travel to other sites (approximately 5-10%) Strong Microsoft office knowledge.
