About the Role: In this role, you will be responsible for light housekeeping tasks, preparing simple meals and snacks, and providing transportation for clients. This may include doctor appointments and personal shopping. Other duties may be assigned as needed. Responsibilities: Light housekeeping: This includes vacuuming, mopping, dishwashing, cleaning the kitchen, bathroom, changing bedding, taking out garbage, and laundry. Preparing meals: You will be responsible for preparing simple meals and snacks for our clients. Transportation: You will provide transportation for our clients, which may include doctor appointments and personal shopping. Personal care: You will assist with personal hygiene tasks such as brushing teeth, toileting, bathing, dressing, etc. Housekeeping: You will perform necessary housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean environment. Companionship: You will provide companionship, assist with behavior redirection, and engage in conversation. Dignity and respect: You are committed to treating consumers with dignity and respect. Positive presence: You will provide a caring and positive presence. Skills: Health & safety: You are committed to health and safety in the workplace. Housework and cooking: You have the ability to do housework and cooking. Organization: You are well-organized and reliable. Communication: You have excellent communication and people skills.
