Open up opportunities with HPE.Job Description:HPC Storage team under HPC & AI business unit is building storage and related products for the largest supercomputers in the world enabling scientists and engineers to solve the world's grand challenges. The team is looking to fill System/Software Engineer position to help build and deliver storage products to our customers.Responsibilities:Develops organization-wide architectures and methodologies for software systems design and development across multiple platforms and organizations within the Global Business Unit.Identifies and evaluates new technologies, innovations, and outsourced development partner relationships for alignment with technology roadmap and business value; creates plans for integration and update into architecture.Reviews and evaluates designs and project activities for compliance with development guidelines and standards; provides tangible feedback to improve product quality and mitigate failure risk.Leverages recognized domain expertise, business acumen, and experience to influence decisions of executive business leadership, outsourced development partners, and industry standards groups.Provides guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members to set an example of software systems design and development innovation and excellence.Education and Experience Required:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.4 year experience developing software using C, CKnowledge of Unix/Linux System Programming and multithreaded programming is preferredKnowledge and Skills:Strong algorithms, data structures, and multi-threaded programming expertise are requiredExperience in programming, analyzing, and debugging kernel crash dumpProven Interpersonal soft, oral, and written communication skillsNice to have knowledge on handling build system, Dev ops, Jenkins, CI/CT/CDExcellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.Additional Skills:Cloud Architectures, Cross Domain Knowledge, Design Thinking, Development Fundamentals, DevOps, Distributed Computing, Microservices Fluency, Full Stack Development, Security-First Mindset, Solutions Design, Testing & Automation, User Experience (UX)What We Can Offer You:Health & WellbeingWe strive to provide our team members and their loved ones with a comprehensive suite of benefits that supports their physical, financial and emotional wellbeing.Personal & Professional DevelopmentWe also invest in your career because the better you are, the better we all are.
