Description We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team in the retail industry, based in Bloomington, Minnesota. As a Staff Accountant, you will take on a crucial role in our General Ledger department, handling the accounting of multiple branches and providing daily accounting support to branch personnel.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the accounting procedures for serialized product sales.

• Provide daily accounting support to branch personnel.

• Fulfill a critical role in the operations by managing the accounting of over 20 branches.

• Ensure the maintenance of accurate customer credit records.

• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently.

• Regularly monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.

• Provide recommendations to management on improving accounting procedures.

• Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, MS Excel, Expense Reports, and General Ledger to perform tasks efficiently.

• Ensure the accurate processing of customer applications.

• Maintain customer records and resolve customer inquiries. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the Retail industry

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Advanced skills in MS Excel

• Experience in handling Expense Reports

• Knowledge and understanding of General Ledger

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills

• Knowledge of financial regulations and legislation

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
