Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team based in the southwest metro. This role is key to our growing and profitable manufacturing industry operations, providing hands-on leadership for three related companies. The Accounting Manager/Supervisor will partner closely with the CFO, driving process improvements and initiatives that enhance control and effectiveness in the finance department.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement efficient processes for the creation of timely and accurate financial statements

• Drive continuous improvements in the month-end close process

• Provide Financial Planning, Reporting, and Analysis support for key decision-makers

• Analyze cash flow, cost controls, and performance measurements to support operational goals

• Leverage the full functionality of ERP systems to improve accounting functions

• Utilize advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, LOOKUPs, etc., for data analysis and management

• Collaborate effectively across departments, fostering excellent communication and interpersonal relationships

• Guide process improvements and efficiencies within the accounting function

• Prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

• Mentor and develop junior staff members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Requirements

• Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

• Should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.

• Must possess strong knowledge of Accounting Software Systems.

• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is essential.

• Must have experience in various Accounting Functions.

• Should have a track record of Business process improvement.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.

• Previous supervisory is helpful but not required.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are needed.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.

• Must have the ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks.

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification would be a plus.

• Must adhere to all confidentiality and ethics guidelines.
