Job Description

The eCommerce Data Specialist will be responsible for the data integrity and delivery of the company’s product offering shared to brand and marketplace websites and Mobile App via our ERP, PIM, DAM platforms. This person will own the online presence of our product lines, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and overall content health for best-in-class PDPs, while also delivering optimal customer and employee experiences. The eCommerce Data Specialist works closely with marketing, product development, sales, and fulfillment teams.

This position reports to the Sr. Manager of eCommerce Operations and is based out of our Anoka, Minnesota office.

As the eCommerce Data Specialist, you will have an opportunity to:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all product data, descriptions, image assets, and details are complete, accurate and uniform across our ERP, PIM, DAM platforms, brand, and marketplace websites and Mobile App.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams & conduct online searches to identify missing or inaccurate product specifications, including, but not limited to, pricing, categories, image assets, and descriptions and enter updates into our systems.

  • Manage change requests and updates related to product data & image assets and communicate with relevant stakeholders.

  • Work alongside product development and marketing teams to maintain data, monitor data integrity, and link digital assets to the appropriate products.

  • Ad hoc troubleshooting and correction of data across all eCommerce, ERP, PIM, DAM platforms including but not limited to missing/incorrect data and assets, listing errors, suppressions, and website data issues.

  • Perform regular content audits on our brand websites and provide reporting.

  • Monitor eCommerce inventory levels using our ERP system to improve in-stocks, allocations, identify inventory issues and provide data to marketing and product teams.

  • Manage eCommerce KPIs reporting including sales and marketing data and identify opportunities and areas for improvement. Prepare reports related to these opportunities and recommend ways on how to fully utilize them.

  • Utilize statistical analysis and data visualization techniques to identify trends and insights.

  • Oversee web content activities on marketing calendar to ensure that product data and image assets deployment are accurate and ensure consistency across marketing & eCommerce.

  • Participate in proofing websites around deployments and audit product pages to ensure product SKUs are data, asset, and content complete.

  • Assist with related projects & duties when the business needs require it.

  • Ability to travel to special industry events.

You have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business, Marketing, or related field.

  • Demonstrated relevant work experience in a field with strong emphasis on eCommerce and Data Management.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills with proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

  • 2-4 years of hands-on experience managing data and content on digital platforms. ERP, PIM and DAM systems experience. Salsify experience highly preferred.

  • 2 years of related experience working with online retailers and marketplaces.

  • Database Management.

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Demonstrated experience using data and metrics to measure performance and make improvements.

  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver results.

  • Requires proficiency of Microsoft Suite (Must be able to utilize Excel pivot tables and run a VLOOKUP).

  • Demonstrated abilities managing, developing, and delivering reports.

  • Above average attention to detail and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Able to work productively and effectively when faced with stressful work situations and time pressures.

  • Strong initiative, work ethic and ability to work independently.

  • Positive attitude, passionate about process improvement.

  • Flexible and positive disposition to work in a dynamic and changing environment.
