JBT Machining, CNC Machinist - Programmer in Anoka, Minnesota

The Machinist will set up, operate, and monitor the CNC machine to produce parts according to production requirements. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1)Check with designated lead person on machine assignment and job assignment. 2)Produce parts on CNC machines according to specifications and within acceptable production requirements. 3)Unload and package parts according to JBT Machining standards and customer requirements. 4)Complete accurate daily records (date, times, quantities of parts ran, and scrap) for every job worked on, on Shop Travelers and in the ERP system. 5)Follow instructions from all JBT Machining documentation, including: Shop Traveler, Inspection Sheets, and blueprints. 6)Inform quality control, shift supervisor/ lead person of any problems or concerns with parts. 7)Accept responsibility for the quality of products/services provided and perform all required inspections. 8)Perform required preventive maintenance on equipment, watch and listen for abnormal conditions, and report any concerns to maintenance and/or shift supervisor/lead immediately. 9)Maintain assigned work area in a clean and orderly manner and comply with all 5S procedures. 10)Conduct all tasks and behaviors in a safe manner and comply with all JBT Machining Safety Policies, including the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements. 11)Maintain all required documentation. 12)Perform other duties as assigned.
