Aerotek Quality Inspector in Andover, Minnesota

Quality Inspector

Job Description

  • Perform quality inspections of electrical actuators, including small electric motors and control boxes

  • Inspect sample parts, new parts, and customer returns

  • Disassemble actuators to check for defects such as cracks and noises

  • Test the quality and functionality of sample parts

  • Conduct first part inspections to ensure they meet both low and high production quality guidelines

  • Handle incoming inspection orders

  • Collaborate with engineers for the auditing process

  • Develop inspection plans

  • Assist with compliance reporting and part compliance

  • Operate and set up Mitutoyo CMM

Shift:

1st shift hours: Flexible start time of 6 AM to 8 AM working 8 to 9 hours after, hours need to be discussed on the front end

Work Environment

Very spacious, clean production floor in a newly renovated building. The office space has been recently updated. Currently, there are 35 employees, with plans to grow to 50+ within the next year
