Pay: $20.50/hr Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM As a Material Handler, you'll operate various types of equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, floor scrubbers, palletizing robots, and shrink-wrap machines. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of these tools, maintaining accurate paperwork using the Oracle barcoding system, and adhering to GMP and PPE standards for safety. Effective communication and the ability to follow instructions are key to maintaining quality and efficiency. Responsibilities: Monitor and troubleshoot equipment issues, including material jams in the palletizing robot. Keep the workspace clean and organized, ensuring all supplies are stocked. Facilitate smooth shift transitions and relieve team members for breaks or absences. Manage raw packaging materials and supplies efficiently to support production. Adhere to FIFO (First In, First Out) practices for ingredients and materials. Accurately complete all area paperwork and maintain audit readiness. Perform pre-shift forklift inspections and document findings. Qualifications: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Team-oriented with strong decision-making skills. Proficient in maintaining logs and records, and troubleshooting equipment. Capable of standing for long periods, climbing on and off forklifts regularly, and lifting up to 50 pounds or more. High school diploma or equivalent; knowledge of business math preferred. Must be able to work 12-hour shifts and overtime as needed.
